Well Lane – Grids blocked with overgrown grass
The overgrown verge on Well Lane has been added to the CEC Siding Out programme which will start sometime early in the new financial year.
Grid before Brookside water flooding out
Water is no longer flooding out.
Dog Fouling – Rainow Road.
The problem of owners not picking up after their dog’s excrement continues to be a real problem, not only Rainow Road but other areas including the top of Well Lane, where it is particularly bad. The offending area has been sprayed with bright chalk paint to increase awareness that this situation has been identified and noted.
The clerk to arrange for the Council to clear this area and ask regarding the possibility of a dog poo bin in the Well Lane location.
Recreation Area – The cross bar on the larger swing equipment does not appear to be properly secure and the seats are split. The Clerk to notify the Leisure Dept.
12. PARKING ON THE YELLOW LINES AT THE ENTRANCE TO WELL LANE
A Discovery vehicle continues to park on the yellow lines which is causing difficulties.
Highways have added the repainting of the yellow lines to their forthcoming programme.
13. REPLANTING THE SHRUBS AT HIGHERFOLD.
This was to be carried out late Feb. Early March. The Clerk checked prior to the meeting and the planting had not been done.
